Voting to be Held in Two Phases
The elections for Jharkhand's 81-member assembly will take place in two phases-on 13 and 20 November. The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance had won 47 seats in the 2019 polls to form the present government. However, the BJP has reasons to expect winds of change at least as far as the Jharkhand state assembly goes following its recent electoral success in Haryana.
