A significant blow has been dealt to the illegal arms trade in Madhya Pradesh.
Acting on a tip-off, Bhagwanpura police in Khargone district launched a high-stakes operation near Piplya Bawdi Road, resulting in the arrest of a 21-year-old arms supplier, Rajpal Singh Sikligar.
During the search, officers recovered a staggering cache of 10 country-made firearms and seven additional magazines from the suspect's bag.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the accused had sourced these weapons from Umarthi village in the neighboring Barwani district.
The police are now conducting a deeper probe to uncover the supply chain and identify the intended recipients of this dangerous consignment.
Authorities are determined to dismantle these networks that fuel criminal activities in the region.
