A bizarre and highly unusual incident straight out of a movie script has unfolded in Vaishali, Ghaziabad.

Girdhar Singh Bisht, a 40-year-old resident who had been missing for several weeks, casually returned to his home alive—just a day after his family had completed his 13th-day death rituals (Tehrvi).

The family had previously identified an unknown body recovered by the police from a canal as Girdhar's.

Following standard procedures, they claimed the body, performed the cremation, and even lodged a murder FIR against seven local men due to a past dispute.

However, the very next morning after his mourning rituals concluded, Girdhar stepped out of an autorickshaw and walked back into his house, leaving his family in tears of joy and his neighbors in utter shock.
