New Delhi: Just days after rejecting the government's offer to buy corps and pulses via government-affiliated agencies at Minimum Support Price (MSP), thousands of farmers reached the Delhi border with "Delhi Chalo" on Wednesday, reigniting the farmer’s unrest. Led by two major farmer unions, Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, a convoy of tractors is converging on the Delhi-Haryana border, vowing to reach the capital, Vygr learnt.

The agitated farmers have camped at the Shambhu border near Ambala since the protest began last week. This fresh agitation comes after the latest fourth round of talks between the central government and farmers ended in a stalemate. Paramilitary forces stand guard along borders, while high-security measures tighten control on major highways like Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Bahadurgarh. The city is on alert for any as the convoy of tractors marches inches closer.
