On Thursday, the Election Commission uploaded electoral bond data provided by the State Bank of India (SBI) onto its website, in accordance with Supreme Court directive. The Election Commission was given until March 15 at 5 p.m. by the Supreme Court to submit the data to its website.
As per the uploaded data, donors to political parties through electoral bonds include Grasim Industries, Megha Engineering, Piramal Enterprises, Torrent Power, Bharti Airtel, DLF Commercial Developers, and Vedanta Ltd.
