Implications for Recruitment in Medical Services

The case raises certain apprehensions regarding the transparency and fairness in recruitment procedures at government medical institutions. Authorities stress that about merit-based selections, strict measures have to be taken.

Three audio clips of conversations between the parents of the deceased doctor and the authorities at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital have cropped up on social media, bringing fresh controversy to the case of the alleged rape and murder of the doctor in Kolkata. Though it's unverified but as per reports, neither the parents nor the authorities are saying it's fake.

Leaked Conversations Show Frustration and Desperation

These clips contain a series of recorded telephone conversations between the victim's parents and the hospital authorities. In one audio clip, the victim's mother is heard frantically inquiring with the hospital personnel about her missing daughter. She lashes out at the lack of communication and demands to know why the hospital management failed to inform them about her abduction immediately. She implies that the hospital authorities were never serious about the situation. She also says she is extremely angry because the incident drew no response from them.

Accusations Against the Hospital Authorities

In one of the audio clips, it is the victim's father who confronts the medical staff, accusing them of being heartless and negligent in the sense that they did little when their daughter disappeared. He even goes so far as to ask them why they did not report the situation to the police immediately. The audio clips hint at a fact that stands in allegation to the hospital administration for suppressing information before the family and also for not extending sufficient help while they searched for their daughter.
