Bollywood seems to be getting its act together as it signs on Katrina Kaif for its next presentation to the audiences this Diwali! Katrina's hot-yet-cute looks are grabbing everyone's attention again! Excel Entertainment has signed the stunning actress to star in their eagerly awaited horror-comedy called "Phone Bhoot," that also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khattar.
Of course, we are excited about the unusual casting but the film's genre is something that seems to have conventionally worked with a Stree and a Go Goa Gone. Phone Bhoot sure seems to be on similar lines. Although the audience is familiar with the film's premise and other specifics, the Ghost character has drawn a lot of attention. Despite having a varied history and having played many lovely characters, this film will be Katrina's first time playing the role of a Ghost. Given that the film will be released around Diwali, it will be amazing to see Katrina in such a different role.
Being one of the finest female stars in Bollywood, it will be wonderful to see Katrina appear in the film as a ghost and bring her special charm. Additionally, this will be Kartina's first film after her marriage to the other star of Tinsel Town, Vicky Kaushal. The recent viral video and the episode on Koffee with Karan also demonstrate how much fun the trio is having on set, which has increased the audience's eagerness for seeing them together in the film too. The chemistry is fairly palpable even though they are from different age groups.
Excel Entertainment, which is led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, is the producer of the Gurmeet Singh-directed film Phone Bhoot, which features a script by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The movie's opening day is set for November 4th, 2022.
