Babita Kumari from Dumka, Jharkhand, became the first girl from the Mal Paharia community to crack the JPSC exam (AIR 337 in 2023).

With no money for coaching or even sweets on selection day, she prepared through YouTube and self-study while her father worked as a school helper.
