Schengen visa holders can now enter Croatia unrestricted

Croatia is all set to become a part of the Schengen Zone. Croatia is about to join one of the world's largest visa programmes, which includes 26 European countries starting January 1, 2023.

Croatia is a country located in southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the southeast, Montenegro to the south, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. Croatia has a long coastline on the Adriatic Sea and is known for its beautiful beaches, islands, and national parks. The capital of Croatia is Zagreb.

Croatia is a member of the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe, but it was not a member of the Schengen Area, which allows for the free movement of people between certain EU countries. 

Croatia is a popular tourist destination and is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and natural beauty. It is home to a number of UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Old Town of Dubrovnik and the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
