Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced a price hike for its hatchback Ignis.
The price of Ignis has been increased by Rs. 27,000. The car is updated to meet the upcoming E20 and Real Driving emission norms which are to come into effect from 1st April 2023. The company has added some features like an electronic stability program and Hill Hold Assist as standard across all variants of the hatchback. These added features will add to the safety shield of the car.
Ignis is a global product from the company’s stable. In India, the Ignis was added to the company’s product portfolio back in January 2017. It was introduced with the 1.3 L DDIS diesel engine and 1.2L K12M petrol engine in 2018. The company has made the car future-ready by the agreement of the upcoming RDE norms before schedule.
The latest starting price of Ignis is Rs 5.82 lakh.
