In collaboration with Ray-Ban, Meta has introduced innovative smart glasses called Ray-Ban X Meta glasses. These glasses offer various functionalities, including capturing photos and videos, enjoying music and calls, and effortlessly sharing content on social media.
During the announcement, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also unveiled the Meta Quest 3 mixed reality headset and showcased the Ray-Ban smart glasses, which enable wearers to livestream videos and engage with an AI-driven voice chatbot, marking a significant leap in wearable technology.
According to the official website, Ray-Ban Meta is available now for pre-order. Featuring enhanced audio and cameras, more than 150 unique frame and lens combinations and a lighter and more comfortable design, you can now livestream from your Ray-Ban Meta to Facebook or Instagram and use "Hey Meta" to engage with our cutting-edge conversational assistant, Meta AI, simply by speaking your name.
How can you pre-order Ray-Ban X Meta glasses?
Pre-orders for the smart glasses are now open on meta.com and ray-ban.com. They will be available for purchase online and in retail stores starting October 17th, with prices starting at $299 USD ( Rs 25,000 approx).
Advanced Features
According to Meta, Ray-Ban X Meta glasses are redesigned the next-generation glasses from the ground up, by listening to feedback from the Meta community and spending time understanding what people love about the product — like the effortlessly cool form factor, hands-free convenience, and open-ear audio — as well as the overall media quality and comfort.
Meta also affirms that these new features have never been seen on a pair of smart glasses before. Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, allowing for improved photo and video processing as well as faster computing.
With Ray-Ban Meta, you can capture photos and videos from your own perspective, allowing you to truly live in the moment.
