Qualcomm recently held its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, where several Chinese smartphone manufacturers, including iQOO, unveiled their next-generation flagship devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. iQOO's upcoming flagship, the iQOO 13, is slated for release in China on October 30. Nipun Marya, the CEO of iQOO India, has teased the device on his X (formerly Twitter) account, confirming its imminent arrival in India. However, the exact launch date remains undisclosed.
Rumoured Launch Date in India
While iQOO has yet to confirm a specific launch date for the iQOO 13 in India, speculation suggests that it could debut on December 4, according to a report by SmartPrix. It is essential to treat this information with caution, as no official announcement has been made by the brand.
Impressive Specifications of the iQOO 13
The iQOO 13 is set to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, renowned as the most powerful SoC currently available for smartphones. This advanced chip includes two prime cores operating at 4.32 GHz and six performance cores at 3.53 GHz, promising exceptional performance.
The flagship device is expected to sport a 6.82-inch 2K display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, enhancing the visual experience for users. Additionally, the iQOO 13 is likely to run on a UI based on Android 15, despite the new software yet to be officially announced by Google.
In terms of photography, the iQOO 13 is rumoured to feature an impressive triple-camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom capabilities. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is anticipated.
To support these features, the iQOO 13 is expected to house a robust 6,125mAh battery, offering support for rapid 120-watt fast charging.
