AI-powered Siri

With the latest update, Siri will use ChatGPT for more advanced capabilities. This could include Writing Tools, Image Playground and other comprehensive creative tools. It will let users generate images, review documents or browse web pages with the latest GPT. This will charge ₹1,950 ($20) a month, making some subscribers effectively priced out from fully unlocking the capabilities of it. The chat assistant will provide more general features without this subscription but the advanced features can only be accessed by paying customers.

Will Users Adopt This Paywall Model?

The introduction of a paywall for Siri’s advanced features signals Apple’s shift towards a subscription-based model for its most powerful tools. Whether this strategy will succeed in enticing users to pay for enhanced virtual assistant features remains uncertain.
