AI app to help understand and decode Arabic & Hebrew Dialects

Israel-UAE is working together on an application that involves artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to understand the Arabic language and its dialects. The Middle East region will primarily benefit from this innovation.

“We realised that no Hebrew and Arabic Natural Language Processing (NLP) is essential to give AI-based services to our citizens speaking these languages. Therefore, we are investing a lot in Hebrew and Arabic NLP,” said Dror Bin, Israel’s Innovation Authority (IIA) CEO.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a field of computer science and artificial intelligence that deals with the interaction between computers and human language. It involves techniques for analyzing and understanding text and speech data in order to extract meaning and facilitate communication between humans and machines. Some examples of NLP applications include machine translation, text summarization, sentiment analysis, and chatbots.

The AI app would utilize machine learning algorithms to analyze and understand the patterns and nuances of different Arabic and Hebrew dialects. It would be able to recognize and differentiate between different dialects and provide translations and explanations of specific words or phrases.

The app would also have a feature to allow users to input their own text or audio recordings for analysis and decoding. This could be especially useful for language learners or those working in fields where a knowledge of multiple dialects is necessary. The AI app would continuously update and improve its understanding of different dialects through ongoing learning and analysis.
