PBKS vs LSG, IPL 2025 Highlights: All-round Punjab hammer Lucknow by 37 runs in Dharamsala -VYGR

LSG has one of the strongest top order in IPL but Arshdeep Singh was just too good for them as he dismissed dangerous Markram, Marsh and Pooran in the power play only which took the match away from LSG in the first six overs only. LSG hoped that their 27 crore Captain Rishabh would finally score big for the first time this season but his disappointing season continued as Azmatullah got the LSG captain for only 18(17). Rishabh’s current form is a big reason for LSG’s inconsistent performance this season. The South African power hitter David Miller also failed against his former team and got out to the same bowler in the same way Rishabh got out. Miller managed to score only 11 off 8. Some positive that LSG can take away from this match was the performance of their two young Indian players Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad who ensured that LSG will not lose by a big margin. Badoni scored 74 off just 40 whereas Samad scored 45 off just 24 balls and showed the experienced LSG players that this is how you were supposed to bat on this pitch.

As the tournament is now approaching the final stages it will be interesting to see how the young Punjab players will handle the high pressure games.
