Odisha Ayurvedic doctor will be addressing on climate change in US

Hari Pangi, an ayurvedic doctor from Tentuliguda village in Odisha's Koraput district, has been invited to the United States to speak about climate change and biodiversity conservation. Despite being a tribal man, he has made a positive impact on global climate issues by establishing a herbal medicine centre in his village, where he personally prepares and sells medicines for over 105 different ailments, including COVID-19.

He has been recognized for his efforts and was recently honoured by the Odisha Environment Congress. Hari has been invited to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) in the US to address issues related to climate change and biodiversity preservation. He will travel to Washington DC on March 10th and participate in the IVLP program from March 13th to March 31st.
