Narayan Rane, Union minister for MSME, said in a statement that, there are high chances of BJP winning the Lok Sabha elections with a majority in the 2024 elections. He has also added to the statement that, with nearly 12 MLAs in South Goa, there could be increased chances for Congress being defeated. Moreover, he has expressed his confidence saying, BJP will 100% win the upcoming elections in South Goa completely.
Currently, the South Goa region is being represented by Congress MLA Fransico Sardinha. He has stated that MGP will support any candidate who represents BJP in South Goa and is ready to play a role in it.
He has mentioned “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in every state, something happens automatically and we don’t have to make an effort. But it happens in the name of Modi. It takes time to happen in Goa, but when it happens, it happens effectively"
