Supreme Court Chief Justice Shares Family Moment, Brings Daughters to Work

On Friday, Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud visited the Supreme Court, including the courtroom and chamber, with his two daughters. The CJI brought the foster daughters Mahi (16) and Priyanka (20), who are differently-abled, from the public gallery into the courtroom around 10 a.m.

He was heard telling them, "See, that's where I sit," before leading them on a tour of the SC premises.

He also showed where lawyers stood to make their arguments. According to official sources, the CJI decided to bring his daughters to court because they wanted to see how the courtroom worked.
