Sonia Gandhi Admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Treating Respiratory Issues

  • Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi on 4th January for a routine check-up.
  • According to sources, Mrs. Gandhi was suffering from a respiratory infection.
  • The President  of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Ajay Swaroop said that she was admitted  to the Department of Chest Medicine for observation and treatment of a viral respiratory infection on  4th January 
  • According to sources, She did not attend the ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' along with his brother and party MP Rahul Gandhi in the BJP-ruled state as she was scheduled to earlier, because of her ill health. 
  • Her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reportedly accompanied her to the hospital. Wish her for a speedy recovery and better health.
