Sana Khan, a BJP activist from Nagpur, has been missing for ten days. Her husband, Amit Sahu, was taken into custody on Friday for her murder in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, according to police.
A team from the Nagpur Police detained Amit Sahu and another individual from the Ghora Bazar of Jabalpur after they both admitted to the crime.
Her family claims that on August 1, Ms. Khan was last seen in Jabalpur, where she had traveled to meet Sahu. Ms. Khan took a private bus out of Nagpur, and when she arrived in the city the following day, she called her mother. She then vanished, though, shortly after.
The event happened when Sana and Amit were engaged in an extended argument over money transactions.
According to the investigation conducted thus far, the accused, Amit Shah, managed a roadside restaurant close to Jabalpur and was engaged in smuggling alcohol.
Additional Superintendent of Police Kamal Maurya claims that the suspect, 37-year-old Amit Sahu, admitted to killing the victim, Sana Khan, who was his wife, by striking her with a stick at his home and then dumping her body in a nearby river.
The victim's body, however, has not yet been located, according to the authorities.
Another person engaged in this case has also been identified by the authorities, who were actively looking for them. The suspect has been arrested, and the police are questioning him at present.
