Probably, this much love one never gets.”

Attacks on TMC, Congress

While in Bengal, Prime Minister Modi wasted no opportunity to criticise the TMC. He praised the state's rich history and accused the opposition of impeding West Bengal's development.

“There was a time when Bengal was the driver of India's development. Be it social reforms, scientific advancements, philosophical advancements, spiritual advancements, and even sacrificing life for the country. There was no sphere of life which was not led by Bengal. But first the Left, and then TMC rule, sabotaged the greatness and respect of this state and even stopped development,” he said.

Modi accused the TMC leaders of looting the money sent by the Centre, citing their  opposition to central projects in Bengal.

"The money that I send from the Centre to the Bengal government for its development is syphoned off by TMC leaders, ministers, and tolabaz (extortionists)," he said.

Attacking the Congress and TMC, two parties that are a part of the INDIA bloc that was created on the grounds of "anti-Modi," he claimed that they appear to be running for the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal separately. In spite of their alliance, they are competing with one another, especially when it comes to winning over votes from particular communities by using appeasement politics.

"The Congress wants to grab your properties and the TMC hasn't spoken a single word against it. They are competing with each other for appeasement and attempts to win over a certain community or vote bank. While the TMC government has worked to grant permanent residency to infiltrators from Bangladesh, the Congress is talking about redistributing your assets among a certain vote bank," PM Modi added.

TMC 'synonymous to Scams’, says PM Modi

He said that Bengal is beset by multiple multi-crore scams under the TMC's rule and accused the party of widespread corruption. The prime minister also attacked the party for axing about 26,000 jobs that were ordered by a high court decision, emphasizing the negative effects that the party's culture of corruption, which has come to be associated with it, has had on West Bengal's youth. There is only one thing under TMC rule: scams worth thousands of crores. The culprit is TMC, but the entire state is forced to pay for its deception and scams.

"The teacher recruitment scam" snatched the livelihood of around 26,000 families. The youth who took loans to pay bribes to the TMC leaders are now burdened by this situation too. The Centre is working towards generating jobs for the youth of the country," he said.

Sandeshkhali, Triple Talak

Modi also addresses Women Issue in Bengal, including Triple Talak, he accused that the TMC was betraying Muslim sisters by refusing to outlaw triple talaq. With reference to the recent incidents in Sandeshkhali, where TMC leaders were accused of sexual abuse, Modi criticized the state government for what he perceived as their alleged apathy for the victims.

Moreover, PM Modi said, "The Congress and the INDI alliance are planning to take the wealth that you have accumulated by working hard and enduring hardships. Even the mangalsutra of the poor and Dalit woman will not be spared."

Accused Opposition to spread rumours about CAA

He claims that the TMC and the Congress will go to any extent to advance their policies of appeasement and hinder or stop any actions made for the nation's benefit. Declaring that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act "is about granting citizenship and not snatching it," Modi took aim at the Congress and the TMC for allegedly spreading rumours about the law.

"The Congress and the TMC to appease their vote-bank politics are opposing the CAA. Why are they opposing Hindu, Sikh, and Buddhist refugees, who were forced to leave their land due to religious persecution, from getting citizenship? The CAA is about granting citizenship and not snatching it," he said.

Confidence in Bengal Voters

BJP RALLY

In both rounds of the Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi voiced his confidence in the voters and expressed hope for the best for the BJP. He said, "I am confident that the parties like Congress and TMC, which were destroyed in the first round of elections, will be destroyed in the second phase as well.”

During his rally, PM Modi stressed how crucial each and every vote is to preserving democracy and the Constitution. Phase 3 polls for the two Malda Uttar and Malda Dakshin seats are scheduled for May 7.

Rahul Gandhi’s Rally in karnataka

Today, Rahul Gandhi while addressing public meetings in the two district headquarters towns of Vijayapura and Ballari, attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his party BJP.

“May Cry on Stage’ dig at PM Modi

During a rally in Bijapur, Karnataka, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed that Narendra Modi seemed visibly tense during his recent speeches and suggested that he might even cry on stage.

He said, “You have heard the prime minister’s speeches. He is scared. These days Narendra Modi remains very nervous during his speeches. Maybe in a few days he might shed tears on stage."

The Congress MP additionally alleged that PM Modi is using various tactics to divert public attention away from core issues such as poverty, unemployment, and rising prices.

"Modi tries to divert your attention. Sometimes he talks about China and Pakistan, and sometimes he will make you beat plates and ask you to switch on the torch light of your mobile phones," Gandhi said.

PM Modi left Empty ‘Chombu’ for Karnatak People, Says Rahul

Rahul Gandhi called BJP as the Bharatiya Chombu Party and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi's party of looting public funds while giving an empty pot in return. In Kannada, the word "chombu" (round water pot) can also mean "emptiness" or "deception."

"I will tell you what the BJP is going to do. It's Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Chombu Party which is empty. For every ₹100 it (Karnataka) gives to the country (as GST), it gets only ₹13 in return (under tax devolution)." "Karnataka was supposed to get about ₹18,000 crore for drought relief, but it got ‘Chombu’. The Finance Commission did not give ₹60,000 crore. Only Chombu was given," he said.

Rahul Gandhi further said, "Narendra Modi has only snatched money from the poor in the last 10 years. - He gave as much wealth to 22 people of the country as 70 crore people of the country have. There are 1% such people in India who control 40% of the wealth.
