Shri Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of Minority Affairs initiated the new web portal scheme Jiyo Parsi today, Shri George Kurian, Minister of State for Ministry of Minority Affairs, Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman NVM and Shri Kersi Kaikhushroo Deboo, Vice -Chairperson, national Commission for Minorities and other dignitaries were also presented for the launch of the new portal scheme.
Shri Kiren Rijiju accentuated about the rich heritage and culture of Parsi community people and also inspired by communities concern on reversing the population dwindle. The Minister also appreciated the government scheme for the community which renders in upbringing in future. The Minister also added that couples who are competent to access the scheme should benefit from it and strive hard to develop a stronger Nation
The Minister gave a speech that many Parsi couples can have a better assassinate from this new portal. The couples can check the status of their application after applying and also can receive financial benefit online through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Mode.
The Central Sector Scheme which is launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs is special and it renders in reversing the population trend of the Parsi community by scientific protocol and some structural intervention to stabilize the population. The scheme has supported more than 400 Parsi children and the scheme promotes financial help to couples who opt for medical assistance for childcare also it assists the dependent elderly people of the community.
