Here's a detailed breakdown:

1. Special Status Demand for Bihar

A resolution calling for Bihar to be given special category status was passed by JDU. Party spokesperson KC Tyagi stated, "Bihar's development has been hindered due to historical reasons. Special status is not just a demand but a necessity for our state's progress."

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar emphasised, "

We've been asking for this for years. Bihar needs extra support to catch up with other states. It's time the central government recognised our unique challenges."

2. A new working president is appointed.

Sanjay Jha, a Rajya Sabha member, was appointed as JDU's working president. Jha expressed gratitude for the confidence he was given upon being appointed. ''We'll work tirelessly to strengthen our party and continue Bihar's development under Nitish Ji's leadership."

Jha added, "Despite 19 years of governance, there's no anti-incumbency against Nitish Kumar. This was clear in the recent Lok Sabha results."
