In recent news, the opposition parties comprising the INDIA alliance have decided to Boycott a total of four television news channels and 14 television news anchors.
The 4 television news channels being Boycotted are - Times Now, Republic Bharat, Sudarshan News, and Doordarshan.
The 14 news anchors being boycotted are -

While listing the names of news anchors a member of the media committee of INDIA said, "Pursuant to the decision taken by INDIA Coordination Committee in its meeting on September 13, 2023, the INDIA parties will not send their representatives on the shows and events of the following anchors,"
INDIA opposition bloc has stated that the decision to boycott the anchors and news shows is because their programming detracts from addressing the nation's genuine concerns.
INDIA parties have also stated that they won't be attending any debates or events that feature the 14 anchors of news channels.
