Geetika Srivastava is all set to become India’s first female Chargè d'affaires at the Islamabad High Commission.
She is said to succeed Dr. Suresh Kumar, who will return to India. Geetika is currently serving as joint secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
According to sources Geetika is expected to take her new role shortly.
