Gangster Mukhtar Ansari was sentenced to 10 years in prison with rupees 5 lakh fine.
Gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari was sentenced to 10 years of prison by a court in Uttar Pradesh. He has also been fined an amount of rupees 5 lahks In the gangsters act case.
The court has also convicted his brother Afzal Ansari with a fine of rupees one lakh and 4 years in prison. A senior police officer spoke on his verdict saying that case number 1051 was registered against Mukhtar in the murder charges of Bjp mla Krishnanand Rai in 2005.
