Veteran Congress leader and was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi due to her bronchitis. D S Rana, Chairman, Trust Society of the hospital confirmed the leaders admission to the hospital. The former Congress president is under the super vision of Arup Basu who is the senior consultant in the Department of Chest Medicine in the hospital.
A news bulletin by the hospital has updated that the senior leader’s condition is stable and she is under observation. Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the same hospital twice this year. The first time was in January when she was admitted for ‘viral infection’ during a routine check-up.
