China: G20's Delhi declaration a 'good signal' to battle global issues

China has spoken out on the G20 meeting that took place in New Delhi, claiming that the Declaration that was agreed upon by participating countries provided a "positive signal" that the powerful alliance was "working together" to address global issues and support global economic recovery. The leaders' proclamation follows China's proposal and demonstrates that the G20 is committed to tangible steps and partnerships, according to the Chinese foreign ministry, which praised the summit's outcome.

China played a constructive role in the summit and supported the concerns of developing countries. The Chinese stance on the Ukraine issue remains consistent and clear, emphasising the importance of discarding the Cold War mentality and seeking a political solution through dialogue and negotiation. China will continue to promote peace talks and work with the international community for the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis.

China believes that the G20 should stand in solidarity and cooperate to address risks and challenges in the world economy and development. Premier Li Qiang elaborated on China's views and propositions on G20 cooperation, calling for solidarity, cooperation, and partnership in promoting world economic recovery, open cooperation, and global sustainable development.

The G20 member countries represent a significant portion of the global GDP, trade, and population. The African Union was admitted as a permanent member of the G20 during the summit.
