Bollywood veteran actor Suniel Shetty decided to ask CM Yogi Adityanath’s help to stop #boycottbollywood, ironic right?
Suniel Shetty stated to UP CM that not all bollywood is rotten, and that 99% of bollywood is filled with “good people”.
After pleading the case of Bollywood Suniel Shetty asked CM Yogi Adityanath to take the lead at stopping the boycott bollywood propaganda, he also asked the CM to speak to the Prime Minister and remove the hatred towards bollywood.
Wow!
But this all was done after CM Yogi Adityanath tried to sell UP to the Bollywood culture. This was done during the CM’s road show in mumbai which is going on to collect investments for UP. In said road show, the CM stated how UP had won awards for being “The Most Film-Friendly State” and continued to invite bollywood actors and directors to film their movies in UP.
The road show itself has been faced with criticism from every angle. People pointed out the absurdity of CM Yogi Adityanath holding a road show in Mumbai and then trying to take the film industry away from Mumbai.
People also laughed at the fact that anyone thought bollywood would belong anywhere other than in Mumbai. The roots of bollywood are dug deep within Mumbai, after all the City isn't known as “sapno ka sheher” for nothing.
