BJP chief JP Nadda - Congress is facing 'mental bankruptcy'

While addressing a mega public rally in the K R Puram Assembly constituency in Bengaluru, JP Nadda took a dig at Congress, saying that in the course of opposing BJP, they are opposing the country as well. He further added that they are facing ‘mental bankruptcy’ and lack the qualities to function in a democracy.

 He opposed the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ calling it ‘Bharat Todo Yatra’ instead, which means ‘destroying India foot march.’Without taking Rahul Gandhi’s name, he said that he has started speaking in the UK because nobody listens to him in India after he spoke against India’s Prime Minister during his speech at Harvard University. He further added, “Congress party is a family limited party.” He compared JD(S) and Congress calling them "two sides of the same coin."

Lastly, he praised the BJP government. He brought out the achievements and contributions of the government. He listed out some achievements, such as the growth of digital transactions, a large number of regional airports in the country, and improvement in railway and road infrastructure. He appreciated the Bommai government's 'Chief Minister's Raitha Vidyanidhi' scheme and the decision to raise reservations for SC/STs in the State.
