After 134 days and covering over 4000 km and 75 districts, Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra drew to a close on January 29th. The foot march that started from Kanyakumari in September culminated in Rahul Gandhi unfurling India’s flag at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk on Sunday.
The journey, which took him from the eastern coast of India to the western coast, was aimed at connecting people from various parts of the country and promoting harmony between them.
The tour, which started in Kanyakumari on 7th September, covered several states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. During his visit, Rahul Gandhi met with farmers, workers, youth, and other stakeholders, discussed a range of issues affecting the country, and highlighted the importance of unity and understanding among people of different backgrounds.
Overall, the Bharat Jodo Yatra was a resounding success, demonstrating Rahul Gandhi's commitment to fostering a sense of unity and understanding between people of all backgrounds.
