Bengaluru Bandh on 26 Sept: Hospital, taxis, schools will be closed, know why

Bengaluru Bandh has been called for on Tuesday by pro-Kannada and farmers groups, and many city operations are anticipated to cease. More than 175 groups from all over the state have endorsed the bandh and claimed they support the farmer associations protesting the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.

Pro-Kannada groups, farmer associations, and the Cauvery water-sharing conflict between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka have called for a Bengaluru bandh.

Since opposition parties have also backed the bandh and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has stated that the administration won't try to sabotage it, it is likely to be total.
