Coperni, a luxury fashion brand from France, has recently unveiled a limited edition purse made entirely of meteorites, setting it apart as a truly exceptional and exclusive accessory. The purse is composed of dark grey stone and has a steep price of 40,000 euros or roughly ₹35 lahks. The brand assures that each order will receive a meteorite that is uniquely sourced from various locations where it fell on Earth. The Italian factory Semar meticulously handcrafts the bag and incorporates the meteorite into it, resulting in a weight of 1.8kg and a height of 23cm. A certificate of authenticity is included with the bag to confirm its legitimacy.
The mini "Meteorite" Swipe Bag is a special creation for the brand's Fall/Winter 23 collection, which seamlessly blends design, archeology, and classical and primitive art. The meteorite featured in the photographs is said to have fallen on Earth 55,000 years ago and has been authenticated as 100% genuine by Theatrum Mundi. The post showcasing the bag on the brand's website has garnered 12,973 likes, with users expressing their admiration for the unique creation.
