LinkedIn has recently enabled an option that will allow users to Directly message a company’s admin instead of taking on the public domain. LinkedIn being a major platform and is often being used by jobseekers and professionals of all sectors, seeking job opportunities and appraising proposals etc wouldn't be feasible to be let out in an open forum. Hence this new launch by LinkedIn is seen as a great initiative for the users to create a more personalized networking experience.
This ‘’Focussed Inbox” option of LinkedIn will allow the corporate administrators to easily prioritize the messages according to the need of the hour. This will ultimately save ample time in the company's purview. While at times, if the management is unavailable to reply to the DM’s, the setting allows them to disable this focussed inbox option temporarily.
According to LinkedIn, 63 million companies are actively engaged in posting daily feed, this recent step will definitely aid in improving the engagement of the company and their users. This is seen as a potential approach for bothe job seekers and the companies in need of employees. LinkedIn has officially announced that this new option will be enabled from 07.06.2023, with the latest updated version of the software.
LinkedIn explains “With Pages Messaging, members can reach out to brands through a one-to-one message, which has previously only been available for member-to-member interactions, about topics like products and services, business opportunities and more. Organizations will have a dedicated inbox so that they can manage these two-way conversations and prioritize inquiries that matter most to their business.”
