Toronto Airport sees gold heist- 100 crores worth of valuables stolen

On April 17th, a heist took place at a cargo holding facility at Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Canada, resulting in the theft of over $14.8m worth of gold and other valuable items. The stolen goods were stored in a "high-value" aircraft container that had been transported to the facility. The Peel Regional Police are investigating the incident and exploring all possible leads to determine where the stolen items were intended to go and whether they are still within Canada. According to officials, the incident is rare and isolated and does not pose a threat to public safety. However, it is suspected that organized crime groups may have been involved in the heist.
