Rihanna wears an 8 crore Burmese Ruby ring for Super Bowl

The singer Rihanna chose a $1 million Bayco ring with a 19.47-carat unheated sugarloaf cabochon Burmese ruby and 5.66 carats of trillion-cut and round brilliant diamonds set in platinum and yellow gold.

A Burmese Ruby is a type of ruby that comes from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), which is considered to be one of the most important sources of high-quality rubies in the world. Burmese rubies are highly valued for their deep red color, which is often described as "pigeon's blood" red, as well as their clarity, size, and brilliance.

Burmese rubies are known for their fluorescence, which means that they emit a glowing effect when exposed to certain types of light. This gives the stones a unique and beautiful appearance that is highly prized by collectors and gem enthusiasts.

Due to their rarity and exceptional beauty, Burmese rubies can be quite expensive and are often considered to be one of the most valuable gemstones in the world. They are frequently used in high-end jewelry pieces such as rings, necklaces, and earrings.

These rubies are said to be a significant source of income for the Junta government in the nation after the military coup overthrew the civilian government in February 2021.

Rihanna, a popular Barbadian singer, actress, and businesswoman has been known for her distinctive style and fashion sense, and she is often seen wearing expensive jewelry and accessories.
