In War between Israel and Lebanon, Israeli tank fired at a United Nations peacekeeper watchtower in southern Lebanon. UPDATES

The US recently conducted "precision airstrikes" as they said on five underground weapon storage sites in Yemen controlled by the Houthi. According to US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, these strikes involved B-2 Spirit stealth bombers and targeted locations storing missiles and munitions that were used by the Iran-backed Houthis. The strikes hit six areas around the capital, Sanaa, and two near the northern city of Saada, which are known for military activity.

Earlier also reports indicated that Israeli troops forcibly entered a UNIFIL position near Ramyah, crossing the Blue Line which is UN-mandated between Israel and Lebanon. In that event, Israeli forces fired smoke rounds that left 15 UN personnel with skin and gastrointestinal issues. Israeli airstrikes hit the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, which has been highly dominated by Hezbollah and its ally, Amal. The air strikes killed 16 people, including the mayor of the city.

Lebanon's government said that Israeli airstrikes have increased and 138 strikes were reported in the last 24 hours in different regions of the country, including the southern suburb of Beirut and the Bekaa Valley. The Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed that 27 have been killed and 185 others injured with the attacks. The residents are now left without food, water, or medicine. Civil defense teams in Gaza say they face difficulties in collecting bodies from the streets and rubble and refugee camps.

This international community is crying out for a ceasefire. European and Gulf states have appealed to Israel to end its military strikes in both Gaza and Lebanon, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed the notion, saying his country will continue to pound Hezbollah and Hamas through military action.
