Israel-Palestine War Update - 3 Lakh soldiers drafted, as a 'complete siege' of Gaza is en route

In the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, Israel is taking measures by mobilising a massive force of 3,00,000 soldiers, signalling its intent to impose a 'complete siege' on Gaza. The 'complete siege' strategy entails severe measures, including the cutoff of essential supplies to Gaza, such as electricity, food, water, and fuel.

Israel has deployed special forces to retake control of four key sites from Hamas fighters. Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg has also announced the temporary suspension of development aid payments to the region, according to reports, totalling approximately 19 million euros (USD 20 million) in response to the ongoing conflict.

This conflict has already resulted in a devastating toll, with more than 1,100 people killed and thousands wounded. This includes both Palestinian civilians and militants. Additionally, over 700 Israeli civilians and military members have lost their lives in the ongoing violence.

Major airlines have also halted service to Israel after the country declared war following a devastating attack by Hamas, adding to the seriousness of the situation. American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines have temporarily halted service due to security concerns.
