Challenges and Prospects

The ongoing events have hindered India's investment in Syria. Still, India’s stance in global politics will assure Syria’s reconstruction. Looking at the future in Syria, the rebuilding infrastructure will be able to provide Indian companies to extend their services specializing in energy, construction, and IT services. This will again deepen their relationship.

In recent events, India has supported Syria in its needs while also balancing its relationship with other Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Israel. Balancing the relationship with these countries is a challenge and it also opens up opportunities for global policies with other countries. The vast availability of Syria’s oil and gas production can be a very good future investment for India. This will positively trigger the mutual growth and wealth of the two countries.
