Bob Lee, Cash App founder and MobileCoin exec, Stabbed to Death in San Francisco

Cash App founder, Bob Lee, was stabbed to death in San Francisco on Tuesday. Cash App is owned by Block Inc. His father posted about the incident on Facebook and said he has “lost his Best Friend.” Police officers found the 43-year-old at around 2.35 am, then he was taken to the hospital where he passed away due to his severe wounds.    

The victim's father, Rick Lee, wrote while sharing the news on social media, "I just lost my best friend, my son Bob Lee when he lost his life on the street in San Francisco early Tuesday morning."

Money transfers are possible in the US and the UK because of Cash App, a mobile payment gateway. 

"On April 4, 2023, at approximately 2:35 am, San Francisco Police officers from Southern Station responded to the 300 block of Main Street for a report of a stabbing", San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said.
