It has been reported that an explosion at an oxygen plant in the Kadam Rasul (Keshabpur) area of Chittagong's Sitakunda Upazila in Bangladesh has taken place. As per reports, 6 people were killed and 30 were injured.
Not all of them, but some who lost their lives have been identified. Among the six, a man was killed after a metal object fell on him at Kadamrasul Bazar, about a kilometre away from the spot. The others identified are Shamsul Alam, Farid, Ratan Lakhret, Md. Shahid and Md. Kader. All victims have been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh.
Another shocking revelation was that the Shima Oxygen plant had no legal papers.
