7 wonders of the world in less than 7 days, Britain man to break record

The "Adventureman," a British wanderer also known as Jamie McDonald, broke the previous record for seeing each of the seven of the new Seven Wonders of the World within the last week.

Jamie covered 22,856 miles in six days, sixteen hours, and fourteen minutes, according to the World Guinness Book of Records, by using 13 flights, 16 trains, 9 buses, 4 trains, and a beanie while travelling across four continents and landing in nine different countries. He also travelled to India to see the Taj Mahal, Jordan to see Petra, Rome to see the Colosseum, Brazil to see Christ the Redeemer, Peru to see Machu Picchu, and Mexico to see Chichen Itza.

The challenge was set up by Travelport, a multinational technology company that helps travel companies throughout the world make reservations.

He had to finish this mission in order to fund his charitable organisation, the Superhero Foundation. The money will help pay for medications, therapies, and equipment that struggling families cannot easily access via the healthcare system. They will also be applied to helping needy families.
