The visible plastic wastes and human excreta can impact human health if they come in contact. The wastes can also be carried away by the river which puts the pilgrims health at risk who take bath in the holy river.

So far, more than 13 crore people have visited Mahakumbh, the big festival of hindus.

Apart from Indian pilgrims, Mahakumbh also attracts pilgrims globally. Many big personalities such as Laurene Powell  Jobs, wife of Steve Jobs visited the holy place.
