Woman Praised for Saving Elderly Man from Heart Attack at Delhi Airport

After a viral video showcased her lifesaving efforts at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, a woman is being hailed on social media. The incident, shared by social media user Rishi Bagree on X, depicted the woman, believed to be a doctor, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an elderly man who had suffered a heart attack at Terminal 2. The man, in his 60s, collapsed in the food court area.

The video showed the woman administering chest compressions while calling for help from airport personnel. In a remarkable turn of events, the man regained consciousness within five minutes of receiving CPR.

The heroic act has garnered widespread praise. Bagree's caption read, “Today at T2 Delhi Airport, a gentleman in his late 60s had a heart attack in the food court area. This lady Doctor revived him in 5 mins. I am super proud of Indian doctors. Please share this so that she can be acknowledged.”
