What is a perfume IED?
An explosive that looks like a perfume bottle but contains explosive material is known as a perfume IED or perfume bottle IED. Terrorists are using a novel strategy to cover up explosives.

Arif Ahmed, a government school teacher who lives in Jammu's Reasi district, had the improvised explosive device (IED) seized. He was allegedly working under the orders of his Pakistani handlers as a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist. The Greater Kashmir reported that the police say he has admitted to being involved in the IED explosion in Narwal on January 21 that injured nine people.
