Viral Video: Family Serves Home-Cooked Feast on IndiGo Flight

Ever wondered where to draw the line between personal freedom and public etiquette? A recent viral video from an IndiGo flight has the internet completely divided! ✈️

A large family decided to turn their mid-air journey into a full-blown picnic, unpacking a massive home-cooked feast. Complete with dhokla, thepla, samosas, and assorted snacks, they served everything on proper plates right at their seats as if they were in their own dining room! 🥟🍱

While it’s true that IndiGo allows passengers to bring cold snacks on board, breaking out oily, messy, and strong-smelling food in a highly confined cabin is raising serious questions. Many netizens are quick to point out that an airplane isn't a general train compartment, and strong aromas can be overwhelming for fellow passengers. 🚆🚫

Beyond the smell, there's a very real safety concern. Imagine if the plane hits sudden turbulence while a full buffet is laid out on the tray tables? The resulting spills and flying food would create a messy nightmare for both co-passengers and the hard-working cabin crew. Having the freedom to do something in a public space doesn't mean we shouldn't be considerate of the people sharing that space with us.

What’s your take on this mid-air feast? Is bringing a full home-cooked meal on a flight completely fine, or does it cross the line of basic civic sense?
