The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced that Aadhaar cardholders can now update their address online for free until June 14. The move is aimed at simplifying the process for citizens to update their Aadhaar address without having to visit an enrollment center.
To update their address, cardholders can simply visit the official UIDAI website and follow the instructions to upload the necessary documents. The updated Aadhaar card will be sent to the registered address within a few days.
This initiative is part of the government's efforts to promote digital services and reduce the need for physical visits to government offices during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Aadhaar cardholders are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure that their address is up-to-date and accurate.
