On Saturday Night, A devastating tragic accident occurred on Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly-Nainital Highway under Bhojipura police station's jurisdiction, when a car lost control, colliding with a truck claiming lives of the entire family, including a child. The family was on their way from a wedding.
The incident occurred due to the head-on collision of a car and a dumper, triggered by a tire burst in the car causing the vehicle to jump the barrier onto the opposing side of the road as the dumper dragged the car, resulting in a catastrophic explosion that ignited both vehicles in flames.
As per the investigation, unfortunately the 'central lock' mechanism was jammed due to the explosion, which trapped all the members, leaving no escape opportunity for any family member despite the courageous efforts of locals, leading to the fatality of all eight family members, including a child.
