Neha Singh Rathore, a Bhojpuri singer, was given a notice by police on Tuesday for allegedly "spreading disharmony and tension" in society days after she posted a song criticizing the UP government in response to the deaths of two women in a fire during an eviction drive in Kanpur Dehat.
Rathore posted the 1.09-minute video with the title "UP Me Ka Ba - Season 2" on February 16 (Thursday). In it, she criticizes the state government and refers to the Kanpur Dehat incident while mentioning Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
