Sanjeev Kapoor slams Air India over in-flight meal

Sanjeev Kapoor, a renowned Indian chef, had a bad experience while flying with Air India from Nagpur to Mumbai. The meal given on the flight made him utterly sick. Following this, he expressed his displeasure on Twitter. He criticized the airline and shared images of the food that was served on the flight.

Sanjeev’s tweet read - “Wake Up @airindiain. Nagpur-Mumbai 0740 flight. Cold Chicken Tikka with watermelon, cucumber, tomato & sev. Sandwich with a minuscule filling of chopped cabbage with mayo. Sugar syrup Sponge painted with sweetened cream & yellow glaze”.

In addition to that he replied to his tweet saying “Really!!! Is this what Indians should eat for breakfast??”

However, Air India apologized quoting, ''Sir, your feedback is paramount to us. We are continually upgrading our services and from tomorrow this sector will be catered to by our partners Taj Sats and Ambassador. Trust you will have a better experience with the food onboard going forward!” But subsequently, every individual who has faced any problems with the airlines started tweeting about it.
